Come to Me

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28

Jesus knows you’re tired. He knows you’re worn out, and he offers you himself. He said, “come to me.” He wants to carry your burden with you.

Now, knowing that we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus, I have to ask, who knows they can come to you? Who knows you as someone who will share a burden with them? For whom are you someone who helps take the stress and strain of life off their backs and gives them a place to rest?

My guess is you’re a huge blessing to them, but can we be a blessing together? Could we, as a church family, help them with their burdens? Could we–together–do even more to give them rest?

Check out my message, Come to Me, from Matthew 11:28-30.
